Do I need a referral for speech therapy?

A referral from your primary care provider is needed to support speech therapy.  You can either contact your physician directly to ask that an order for therapy be faxed to Tell Me at (812) 772-2848.  Or, our offices can contact the physician to initiate the referral process.

Is Tell Me in-network with my insurance company?

Prior to initiating care, it is recommended that you contact your insurer to determine if speech therapy is a covered benefit and if Tell Me is in-network with your plan.  Refer to the back of your insurance card for the appropriate contact number.  Tell Me is in-network with most area insurers.  This includes Medicare, Indiana Medicaid plans, Anthem, UMR, UnitedHealthcare, to name a few.

What are my options if speech therapy is not covered by my insurance plan?

Prior to initiating care, it is recommended that you contact your insurer to determine if speech therapy is a covered benefit.  Refer to the back of your insurance card for the appropriate contact number.  If speech therapy is not a covered benefit, Tell Me offers packages of 10 visits for a flat rate.  Note that this does not include the initial evaluation which is billed separately.

Does Tell Me offer telehealth services?

Yes, Tell Me offers telehealth services with very good outcomes achieved using this service delivery model.
